Saturday Cinema Challenge

I am just LOVING these challenges. This week is Nightmare Before Christmas what a fun movie for a challenge. I went for a 5x7 card for this one so I would have lots of room to play. I used Bazzill paper, Tim Holtz stamps (swirls and lines on the tree) Clear embossing powder (it has a little black in it too that makes it silvery) I used my new dimensional pearls on the tree and Tim Holtz ink for some shading. Also misc. brads etc for the tree. The inside of the tree is 4 layers of UTEE with the swirl stamp pressed in it. Well here is the card:

Tracy your card is Genius!! I love that part of the movie where he is in a circle of trees in the forest for all the holidays and how he opens up the tree and goes into Christmas Land - your card totally captures that awesome moment (love the little tag from Sandy Claws - that totally made me crack up!!) Very very very cool!!!

I am sorry for not coming over sooner to comment - its been a rough week over here with my daughter being sick and then my son just got sick too - so its been quite full of fevers, throwup, crankiness and drama! But what a total pleasure to come over to your site!! Hope you are well Tracy! We are coming up to MN in Dec. hopefully if you are around - it would be great to meet!

Hope your weekend is going well!!
Best wishes,
Sankari :)

Tracy,
I am so embarassed! I thought I had left a comment on you blog. What a dork I am. It's been one of thoses weeks. I LOVE, LOVE, LOVED you card. You were so out there in the creative mojo. Hats of to you for thinking ourside the box on this challenge. I though about the Christmas aspect but never got back to it. I love all the texture and movement you have on the card. I just loved looking at all the details. The cute little candy canes. And when I realised that the Tree opened it was jaw dropping. You sealed the deal there baby. This card just made my day. Way to totally Rock the Challenge.. It's Audry-licious Baby!!!!
