Thank you cards galore

Image
More from the Love From Lizi kit -- This kit is so versatile. I stamped on the wooden tags Simon Says Stamp Clear using a stamp from the Ton. I embossed with Love from Lizi gold embossing powder. I'm very impressed with the fine detail. Added a couple of wood flowers with gold leaves. I think the gold peel-offs between the papers added a perfect touch. Also - love the reflection on my Tim Holtz glass mat - it is an awesome tool - I can totally see why its back ordered.

Who Can, Toucan

Image
I need thank you cards! I wanna play with my May Love From Lizi kit. The toucan die is so fun! OK maybe things went a little crazy from there.  The first two were very similar. Basically just changed the birds coloring a bit. I stacked the Tim Holtz thank you die with two white cuts out behind the blue topper and used Neenah Solar white 120lb card stock as a base but the rest is all Love from Lizi. I put the bird together on white card stock and fussy cut a close white border. I like the look and added dimension. The paper comes from the May kit. The patterned paper is two sided - it is the same paper. And they are outlined with mirror gold peel offs. I got a little focused on making the birds. The next few it replaced the tail fillers with glossy ebony black Nuvo crystal drops. Using the last of the paper. and then - I played some more. I think the last one (shaker) ended up as my favorite.

Lunch and Pups

I am getting back into scrapbooking again. I really enjoyed doing this layout of Zack and Boston. I love how their body language is the same but the size difference is huge. I used some yardstick and patterned papers from my stash as well as some from Love From Lizi - I also used Love from Lizi peel offs and dies. A few sequins finishes this one off.

Feeling Blue

Image
This card kit was filled with greens, reds and yellows. But  I had to have blue, so I added cardstock from my stash and for the images used some Bristol Smooth cardstock with Zig Realbrush Markers (using a water brush to pull out the color.) Using the Love From Lizi May 2018 card kit. The sentiment is a Simon Says Stamp die cut - on 3 white layers.

Buzzing Along

Image
I've been wanting (needing) to use my "free-bee" stamp and die cut from Honey Bee stamps. I found my opportunity in the Love from Lizi May 2018 kit with the punchinella included in the kit. I ran it through my Xyron. Of course it stayed sticky in the holes - so I used distress glitter to fill them in. Then I added the sentiment from a Honey Bee stamp set and Tim Holtz die.

Love from Lizi Challenge

Image
Love from Lizi (also known as my latest obsession) has a challenge posted on their blog. Being the slowpoke I am with crafting- and the interference of my other jobs- ie engineer, restaurant owner , mother, wife etc.- I don't have all the cards I planned done yet 😔 But on goes the world -- so here is the challenge #LFLMC It is located at  https://www.lovefromlizi.com/blog/post/love-from-lizi-may-2018-challenge/ And here is my first card as an entry: I am using the Love form Lizi stamp set, same pipe cleaners that were included in the kit as a challenge. A little ribbon to top it off 😊.  The inside was completed by adding a My Favorite Thing stamp. I may have gone a little stamp happy with the flowers but I had fun!

Card Gift Box

Image
Using the Love from Lizi May 2018 card kit, I created this gift box full of mini cards. These measure 4 - 1/4" square. These were sized so they could fit in a regular envelope. But then, of course, I decided to handmade matching envelopes anyway. I used Neenah Solar White 120lb for the card bases. And a little something on the insides too - because - I can't seem to help myself.

A Scrapbook Layout - What?

Image
I am literally 10 years behind on my scrapbooks. I deserve to sit in the crafting room corner! When my daughters brought home this fun photo strip from a night on the town I was afraid I'd lose it - so I scrapped it instead! Love from Lizi papers mixed with some Love from Lizi extras I had left over - as well as other miscellaneous stash items.

Inside and Out

Image
As influenced by Prairie Paper and Ink, I typically finish the inside as well as the outside of my cards. It just feels like I'm not quite done until I add at least something small on the inside. These cards were created using products purchased from Love from Lizi as well as my Kuretake watercolors on Arches Aquarelle Watercolor paper. I wonder how many people decorate the inside of their cards.
