Sunny Dialogue - Tonic Kit 10

Mike and I enjoy the many breweries around town. A sunny day in December results in hoodies rather than coats here in Albuquerque. Dialogue is one of our favorites for its outside deck.

I used my new Tonic kit. I added some papers from my stash. Some mirror brown peel-off from Love from Lizi -such an obsession!


I used a Simon Says Stamp "Adult Beverages" stamp kit. Colored with Zig markers on Bristol Smooth card stock. Copper Penny, Midnight Sky and Morning Dew Nuvo drops. 

A bit of clear vellum added some framing as did the tearing of the tan-cored black card stock.

I have had some scrapping time this weekend and while I am getting REALLY behind on my photos I am enjoying making cards! I used Creative imaginations patterned paper, Bazzill cardstock, spellbinders cutters (had them forever - thought I should actually USE them!) I will be MIA....

my father in law passed away this morning. We are catching a flight to LA Friday am. In the mean time this is the card I made for my mom-in-law. my dad in law was a great guy. he and I used to have long chats. I will miss him - he died this morning unexpectedly from a heart attack - he was 80. (thanks Karen for the help with the brads)

KWerner Color Challenge

I am having fun creating in my studio today. I gave KWerners challenge a try - here are the colors: Here is my interpretation: I used clear emboss and the resist technique -- I inked with Tim Holtz inks (the stamp is from Hero Arts) The ribbon is from Stampin Up and the paper is from scraps and of course Bazzill --- and Pop dots! It is a pretty simple card but I like it.
