With the Holiday Season and Work issues ... my poor blog has been neglected. I thought I would post another notebook I sold. I think it is SO cool that people would actually pay me money to make them something. Here is the cover With a close up of the Tim Holtz Grungeboard Accents Then I could not decide which side of the paper to use for the inside cover so I used one of each!

I made a couple more notebooks this weekend. I am hoping to have some time tonight to scrap. I worked long hours all week and had a family party yesterday (happy 2 nd Bday David!) and went Christmas shopping today. So last night I worked on the notebooks and today the stickles are dry and here they are! Here is the cover of the first one --- Using American Craft Paper, Basic Grey and Piggy Tales ribbon, Stickles and bling inside This one is CK paper, Basic Grey ribbon, Stickles, Doodle Bug Flock, double sided stickers and glitter. I made these two notebooks for special orders and the one on the right sold too. WOW It is soooo cool to sell something you have made by hand. The request was Red, Black and Skulls DCWV & BoBunny Paper& SU ribbon. The request was dots and rainbows - NO PINK MME Paper and Bazzill Ribbon and Dew Drops

Ok - I am showing them in bunches -- These are extras that I made. Still trying to decide what I am going to with these.

Yep This one is for my 3 year old great niece - she loves the color green and has a younger brother in the house. SO I needed to use green - something fun for a 3 year old - and keep all the item attached to the notebook in case her brother got a hold of it. SO here is what I came up with -- the ribbon is taped down the whole length The paper is DCWV - All dressed up stack - I thought the animal prints would be fun. I used cloth flowers attached with brads to hopefully keep them more durable. Here is the inside: I am hoping to get some time to do card challenges this week. Work has been C_R_A_Z_Y!

TOLD you that you were gonna get sick of these! These papers were in my stash. The green is Bazzill. The Flowers were a gift from Sharon and the Bling centers was a gift from Lori. (I am soooo lucky!!!) TY Ladies.

OK I am giving a tutorial a go. NO GIGGLING! OK a little giggling might be fun! hehehehe So you all probably already know how to do this but I added a few tricks I have learned along the way - hope this helps. This is the notebook that I am covering. I get these for 50 cents each at Target during school starting season! Pick 3 12x12 pieces of paper - One for the front cover, one for the binding and one for the lining. I also pick some matching ribbon at least 30" (optional). Taking the cover paper (I chose the stripes) and the binding paper (I chose the dots) Cut both pieces in half. Keep 2 cover pieces and one binding piece. You should have 3 12x6 pieces Turning over the cover paper, mark the cover pieces on the wrong side. Measure in 3/4" from the left side and make a line. Also measure 1-1/8" from the top and the bottom and make a line. Trim the top and bottom left corner pieces off cutting at an angle as shown. Repeat for the second cover. Taking the binding paper ...

for lots of these covered notebooks. I am making a lot of these for Christmas gifts this year as I think they are so fun (and with college tutition I need to do some cost savings on the old Holiday bills!) So these will be supplimenting my holiday gifts this year for lots of people! Here is the one I made last night I think the All Dressed up stack from DCWV is perfect for these - I added some black glittered brads and some clear dew drops as well. I kept this one a little plain - more 'adult like'. Have a great day!

I had made another notebook that I havent posted anywhere yet so I thought I'd put it on here! well here it is. This is the front of the notebook -- using DCWV All Dressed Up and some fun brads. I also added some glitter and some TimHoltz stickles. I love all the sparkles and how girly it is! And here is the layout I have underway. It looks so boring!!! I'll have to work on it tonight after work! Have a great day!

My older daughter is heading to college and so she needs to have a little of home with her. So here is a fun notebook for her. I made her a second one as well but it isn't dry yet (stickles!) She loves pink and girly (as well as shiny like her mom!) My youngest is heading to 8th grade so she needs a little something something as well. I made her two as well but I thought I'd just show one since they are similar. Her favorite color is blue. Both of these were made using the DCWV All Dressed Up stack.
